Manage Shipping Categories

Before you add any shipping options, you must add at leat one shipping category. For most simple ecommerce sites, only one category is needed. You might call the category "Shipping" or "Default". If you have products that will be shipped in very different ways (for example CDs vs Refridgerators), you will likely want to create more than one shipping category, so that the system will know that these items are calculated differently depending upon what the user has in their cart.

To create a category,:

  1. Click on Shipping Manager on the right
  2. Click the Shipping Categories Tab at the top
  3. Enter your information in the form
  4. Click the "Submit Your Shipping Category Info" button.

To update a shipping category:

  1. Click on Shipping Manager on the right
  2. Click the Shipping Categories Tab at the top
  3. Click on the name of the shipping category you wish to update
  4. Update the informatio
  5. Click the "Submit Your Shipping Category Info" button.
