Getting Started with AccelSite CMS
Update Your Site Configuration Published On: 10/16/2008 The Site Configuration section allows you to specify the basics for your site.
To configure your site:
- Click on Site Configuration on the right.
- Update any fields that you would like to change.
- Click the "Update Site Configuration" button at the bottom of the page.
Your site should now reflect the information you entered.
On this page, you can configure:
- Name of Organization - this is used for alerts that are sent to you or your members
- Title - the title that will be used when displaying your website
- Tagline - if your theme has a space for your tagline, this is what will be displayed there
- Secure URL - this is used for pages that must be displayed via SSL. Please contact support if you are not sure what your Secure URL should be.
- General Email Address - used to send alerts and as the "From" address for messages sent from the site.
- General Phon Number - if your theme has a space for the phone number, this is what will be displayed.
- Default Page Image Width - if your theme has a place in the body of the pages for displaying a page-specific image, this is the size that will be used.
- Assign Your Home Page - this is the "default" page that will be displayed on your site when people visit.
- Theme ID Number - This is the theme that will be used to display your site. IF you have a custom design, this should be set to "Custom", so the system knows that it should use that.
