Update Your Site Configuration

The Site Configuration section allows you to specify the basics for your site.

To configure your site:

  1. Click on Site Configuration on the right.
  2. Update any fields that you would like to change.
  3. Click the "Update Site Configuration" button at the bottom of the page.

Your site should now reflect the information you entered.

On this page, you can configure:

  1. Name of Organization - this is used for alerts that are sent to you or your members
  2. Title - the title that will be used when displaying your website
  3. Tagline - if your theme has a space for your tagline, this is what will be displayed there
  4. Secure URL - this is used for pages that must be displayed via SSL. Please contact support if you are not sure what your Secure URL should be.
  5. General Email Address - used to send alerts and as the "From" address for messages sent from the site.
  6. General Phon Number - if your theme has a space for the phone number, this is what will be displayed.
  7. Default Page Image Width - if your theme has a place in the body of the pages for displaying a page-specific image, this is the size that will be used.
  8. Assign Your Home Page - this is the "default" page that will be displayed on your site when people visit.
  9. Theme ID Number - This is the theme that will be used to display your site. IF you have a custom design, this should be set to "Custom", so the system knows that it should use that.
