Purchase Increment Shipping (Manual)

If you will cahrge your customers based on the total dollar amount of their purchase, then you should use Manual Purchase Increment-based Shipping.

This method will calculate the shipping charges based on the total cost of the products in the customer's cart (excluding tax and other fees).

Keep in mind that this method relies on the shipping units to the extent that shippable items must have a shipping value of at least "1" in order for the system to detect that shipping charges should be applied.
